Powering the Farm with Solar

We recently finished installing solar panels on the lambing barn to power the farming operation. Earlier in the year we installed panels on the house. Our goal was to generate enough energy to supply our own needs and be able to send some back to the power grid. We are fans of renewable energy but not at the expenses of disrupting fertile soil that can be used for food production. We feel panels installed on building structures will work well for us in reaching our energy goals.
